Private Tutoring

  • Why Private Tutoring: Private tutoring offers numerous benefits for children of all ages. Some children require targeted skill practice, while others need academic enrichment. Regardless of the specific needs, private tutoring equips your child with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in school.
  • What I Do: As a trained reading and writing specialist with over thirty-four years of experience in preschool, elementary, and middle school classrooms, I stand out from other tutors. My extensive experience has equipped me to use a multi-sensory approach to help your child achieve their academic goals. I work closely with your child to identify any gaps in their learning and reinforce their strengths. I create a customized curriculum that caters to their unique strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, I provide both long-term and short-term goals for your child, ensuring that they are on track for their academic development. As a former teacher, I understand the challenges of learning in a classroom setting and work collaboratively with both teachers and parents. Above all, my primary objective is to foster a love for learning and cultivate a sense of curiosity in your child, inspiring them to excel academically.
